Masaka Diocesan Medical Services Limited (MDMSL) is a registered company in Uganda that has been a pioneer in the provision of sustainable quality health services in Greater Masaka region. The company was established with a mission to provide sustainable quality healthcare services in continuation of Christ’s healing ministry through strategic partnerships. MDMSL distributes pharmaceutical supplies exclusively from JMS, ensuring their quality, safety, and availability at all times to consumers in Greater Masaka.
MDMSL supplies these products to government health facilities, PNFPs, private for-profit health facilities, NGOs, pharmacies, and drug shops within Greater Masaka. The company’s operations officially started on 22nd July 2013, after receiving the first consignment from JMS on 20th July 2013. The company’s vision is to have a Diocese with health institutions that meet all health needs of the population without any discrimination.
MDMSL has embraced various values, including God first, high respect for human life, non-discrimination, client-centeredness, transparency, and accountability, mutual respect and teamwork, compliance with quality standards. The company’s goal is to contribute to the provision of sustainable and quality health services in Greater Masaka region. To achieve this, MDMSL has put in place various key strategies, including continuous assessment and feedback, peer learning, recognition and certification, contractual employment with targets under the framework of performance management, robust M&E, advocacy, institutional capacity building, and strategic partnerships at different levels.
